HI
Netcare Alberlito has decided to not renew the leases for Gynaecologists and Paediatricians, based on the fact that they are not as profitable as other sectors. As a woman with 2 daughters, I find this discrimatory, but more importantly, anti patient care. The nearest hospital is 30 minutes away, in Umhlanga. A 30 minute delay in receiving care in an obstetric or paediatric emergency, can be the difference between life and death. I find this decision disgraceful, with no thought of the impact to patients in those 2 sectors. It goes against the reason a hospital exists – to provide care to patients. Will your organisation be taking a stand with the woman and children of the North Coast. Thank you.
How much is the ultrasound scan and how much to see the gynae?
