Robinson hospital is a private hospital situated in Randfontein, Gauteng. Randfontein is a gold mining town on the West Rand of Gauteng. It is to the South/West of Krugersdorp and is conveniently close to the R28 highway. The hospital is also located close to the N14 highway to the West and the R41 to the South. Robinson Hospital has 126 beds and 4 theatres which includes a 10 bed maternity unit, a 7 bed intensive care unit and 13 bed paediatric unit. There is also a 30 bed surgical ward, 25 bed orthopaedic ward and a 32 bed medical ward.
The hospital’s maternity unit offers a comfortable environment for mothers and newborns. The facility is equipped with 5 single rooms and 5 suites with private courtyards. Trained nursing staff provide mothers with advice during and after their stay. Private midwife facilities are also available. The unit also offers free of charge antenatal classes to help prepare parents for the pregnancy and parenthood.
The radiology unit is equipped with a complete range of high-tech diagnostic equipment and perform mammograms, x-rays, sonars and scans.
