9 Thoughts on “Linmed Hospital (Netcare) in Benoni, Gauteng”

  • I am in medical ward room 11 bed B. Since i came to the hospital i get small portions of food. And totally not on standard for sick people . I complained and get ignored. So is this post also been ignored. I had got food brought from home every day so I can get food inside me to get strength.

    • Hi Riaan. This website profiles private hospitals in South Africa. We are not associated with the facility or any hospital group. You can speak to the hospital manager through the contact details above. Alternatively you could also contact the Netcare group.

  • Good day.

I would like to take the time to leave a note of absolute appreciation to Dr M Botes and the nursing staff in the Emergency department on the 6th january 2019
My 6 year old had an accident where his nail came out from the nail bed. The procedure that was done on my son, was enough to leave the toughest of guys in a bundle of pain and anxiety.
Because of the severity of the damage to the nail bed, She had to numb the finger (by injection) remove the nail completely. Cleaned and stitched up the nail bed with 24 stitches. (bare in mind the small index finger she was busy with) Inserted the nail again, with 2 more stitches and glue. But the amazing part of this whole story and ordeal, is that she stayed calm, focussed, and made 100% sure my Son was calm and content. He watched a movie on my phone. Without shedding one tear throughout the 1hour procedure. She kept him in the loop and asked him for (permission) to do all the injections and stitches etc making him feel part and in control.

Thank you Dr M Botes for making this a pleasurable ordeal.

  • Hi, may you please send me the contact information for the diabetes physician and the consulting hours.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    THANKS Lawrence.
