Dalview is one of the smaller hospitals of the Life Healthcare Group but provides the same quality of services as the rest.  The hospital is located in Brakpan.  Brakpan is a small mining town and about 30km from Johannesburg.  The town is nestled between Boksburg, Springs and Benoni on the East Rand.  The hospital is easily accessible via the N17 to the South and the R23 to the West.

Beds and Wards

The hospital has 96 beds and 4 theatres.  In June 2014 the Goller Nursing Home at the hospital was transformed into a maternity unit which consists of 17 beds and 2 delivery rooms.  A 4 bed neonatal ICU unit provides advanced and life-saving care to their youngest patients.  For additional convenience, the unit also provides a birth registration service which allow parents to register their babies without visiting the Department of Home Affairs.

Dalview Hospital also consists of a radiology unit and a 24-hour accident and emergency unit to provide around the clock state of the art support to the community.
