The hospital is situated in the town of Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape Province.  The small town of Grahamstown is filled with history and buzzes with youthful energy.  This diverse town is well-known as the host of the National Arts Festival and for its spectacular churches.

Grahamstown is also as the “Settler City” because of its history and also known as the “City of Saints” as for all its many churches.  The town houses the renowned Rhodes University and gives the small town a youthful liveliness.

Tourists are attracted by the town’s Victorian charm, unspoiled landscape and numerous game reserves in the area.

Grahamstown is just off the N2 about 110km North-East of Port Elizabeth, 57km North-West of Port Alfred and 130km South-West of East London.  The hospital is easily accessible via the N2 to the South, the R350 to the South and West, and the R67 to the East of the hospital.
