The hospital is situated in the town of Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape province.  The small town of Uitenhage lies in the foothills of the Winterhoek Mountains and is known as the Garden Town.  The town is also known for the large industries located there which includes Volkswagen and Goodyear.

Uitenhage lies about 35km North West of Port Elizabeth and about 17km North West of Despatch.  The Addo Elephant Park is just 45km away from Uitenhage and is a popular stopover between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage.  The hospital is easily accessible via the R334 that enters the town, the R367 and the R75.

Beds and Wards
