The hospital is situated in Ceres in the Western Cape province.  The town of Ceres is surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Boland and is famous for its export-quality fruit and breath-taking landscape.

Known as South-Africa’s fruit basket, Ceres is named after the Goddess of Fertility and this valley produces a selection of fruit and vegetables as well as dried fruit and a local wine.  Ceres is a popular destination to escape the busy city life and visitors also come to catch a glimpse of the snow which covers the mountain and farming areas during the winter time.

Ceres lies about 150km North-East of Cape Town and about 33km North-West of Worcester.  Small towns close by are Wolseley, 12.5km away and Prince Alfred Halmet, 15km from Ceres.  The hospital is easily accessible via the R303 to the East of the hospital and the R46 to the South of the hospital.  A 24-hour emergency and casualty unit serves the community around the clock.

The hospital has 28 beds and 1 theatre and is furnished with state-of-the-art wards and facilities to provide private and medical aid patients with quality healthcare during their hospital stay.    The maternity ward provides mothers and babies professional medical care in a tranquil environment.

Children are cared for at the paediatric ward and critically injured and ill patients receive around the clock intensive care at the intensive care unit which is equipped with high-tech monitoring and support equipment.
